Bei Freunden --- visiting friends

Es ist schon länger her, dass ich Euch Fotos von Wohnungen zeigen konnte, in denen Freunde von mir wohnen. Umso glücklicher war ich natürlich, dass ich vor kurzem in die frisch bezogene Altbauwohnung eines befreundeten Paares eingeladen wurde und bei der Gelegenheit auch gleich ein paar Fotos schiessen konnte. Die Wohnung an sich ist bereits ein echtes Schmuckstück - die perfekte Mischung aus Altbau und modernen Elementen. Und die Bewohner haben sich eine richtige Oase darin eingerichtet. Mein Lieblingsplatz ist allerdings der Aussenbereich - aber überzeugt Euch doch einfach selbst!

It's been a while that I was able to share pictures of friend's apartments with you. All the more reason I was thrilled to be invited to a couples place that they had moved in a short while ago and just finished furnishing it so I could also take some pictures of the interior. The place itself is absolutely beautiful, it's a wonderful mixture of old and new. And the tenants have turned the place into their private getaway. My favorite space is the outdoor though - but go check it out yourself and be inspired!

clipping

In Basel hängen zur Zeit Plakate zur Ausstellung "Mona Lisa Effect", die noch bis Ende dieser Woche in der Kunsthalle läuft (Link hier). Ich finde das Plakat so dekorativ, dass ich es mir zulegen werde. Allerdings habe ich momentan kein Geld, um es teuer einrahmen zu lassen und auf eine Leinwand aufziehen mag ich es auch nicht. Also was tun? Da kommt mir die Idee, Bilder mit Papierklammern aufzuhängen, gerade recht...

In my hometown these exhibition posters are hung up almost everywhere. I really like the design of the poster so I'm planning on getting one this week but I'm too short on cash to have it framed (because it's very large) and I don't just want to have it plastered onto a backboard. So what to do? Luckily I came accross this idea of hanging up art with clips just in time...
