eine echte Alternative --- a true alternative
Schon oft habe ich darüber geschrieben, wie schwer es doch sein kann, schöne Lampen, Teppiche, Bilder etc. zu finden. Was ich aber ebenso anspruchsvoll finde - weil es eben nicht bloss schön aussehen darf, sondern (Gott bewahre) auch noch funktionell sein muss - ist, eine schöne Garderobe für den Flur zu finden. Klar, Mäntel und Jacken sind schnell aufgehängt, aber wohin mit den Schuhen, wenn man eine natürliche Abneigung für Schuhkästen hat? Mit ein paar Anpassungen könnte dies eine sehr stylische und praktische Lösung für das Problem sein:
Often I've written about how hard it can be to find nice lamps, rugs, wall art etc. But what I also find to be quite difficult to achieve is a nice looking wardrobe for the entrance since the darn thing doesn't only have to look good but also actually has to serve a purpose (God forbid). Jackets and coats are hung up quite easily but where to put all the shoes if you're not exactly into shoe cabinets? With a few modifications this could be a stylish and practical solution for the problem:
